All puppies under the age of 6 months must have an introduction with me before having a full groom. This is so that I can assess their confidence and behaviour and introduce them to the sights and sounds of the salon.

HAND STRIPPING

Hand stripping is a specialised dog grooming technique used on wiry-coated breeds to remove dead hairs from the topcoat, allowing new hair to grow in. This method, which involves pulling hairs by hand instead of using clippers, helps maintain the natural texture and color of the coat and can even reduce shedding.
